2021 Missions Trips & Projects
June Fund Raiser for Santa Rosa Bathrooms!
We are partnering with Mary at Casa De Maria to fund and have built a very needed bathroom and shower building for the poor small community of Santa Rosa Mexico. Santa Rosa is about 15 minutes from La Mision, our partner Mary has been serving this poor community for a number of years now. They have a small community church and Mary has befriended the pastor and his wife. The church, and community have no accessible bathroom facilities which you can imagine is a huge problem. Sundays Church is hampered by this as well as it is pretty much impossible for groups to come in to serve. In May Mary orchestrated and had a foundation layed for the new bathroom facility. Our assignment is to raise the funds, about $6000 for a completed bathroom facility. Will you join us? you can donate by simply clicking below. All donations in June will go this vitally needed project. I pray you will consider joining us. Blessings Peter
BAJA MEXICO - ORPHAN CARE & MORE
Join us as we partner with our missions friends in Baja for an amazing Summer adventure you won’t soon forget. Our partners; Door of Faith Orphanage, Casa De Maria Skill Center and Siloe Medical Clinic serve the forgotten, the hurting and lost people of Baja Mexico. This 8 day missions project will have 3 primary objectives. 1- we will serve at Casa De Maria - Helping with her current needs. 2 - we will Serve at Door of Faith Orphanage, hopefully being able to minister to the kids. This will be contingent on COVID and the regulations of the orphanage. 3 - we will fund and build a new bathroom for a church in Santa Rosa Mexico. This is a small community about 15 minutes away from La Mision.

Mexico - General Information
Thanks for checking out our upcoming Mexico Missions Project. If you have been on one of our trips before you can move on and get the info you need below. If you are new to what we do let me give you an overview of what we do and why we do it.
Missions127 exists to encourage equip and send people on mission. We mostly serve local churches of Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties by helping with logistics of missions projects. We do personalized trips for individual churches as well as community trips which bring together people from multiple churches. This trip will be the latter, a community, multi church missions project.
We have been serving in Mexico for about 20 years, you can check out our missions partners on our missions partners page, but we will home-base at Door of Faith Orphanage and serve in the small community of La Mision Mexico about 50 min. south of the border. This is a family bases trip with multi ages participating. This is a spiritual / benevolent project, combining our heart to serve the less fortunate with our belief that this kind of giving grows our faith as well. We travel to Mexico via car caravan to keep our prices down and often stop in Southern CA for a night on our way down. We cook our own meals on site and live in a camp environment with bunk beds and sleeping bags. We serve physically in the mornings, maybe working at the orphanage, or at Casa De Maria Skill Center or even serving a local family in the neighborhood. We have built homes and done many different kinds of service over the years. In the afternoons we visit and tour other ministries in the area and usually conduct some sort of events for the kids at the orphanage. We have put on VBS’s, sports camps, water wars and many other activities. In the evening we have camp time, campfires, smores and more. We have morning and evening devotions and sing around the campfire 3 or 4 times during the week. This week is really all about community and growing in relationship with each other and especially with our God. I like to say that 7 days on the mission field equals 7 years in the pews. You can attend weekly church services for years and not have a deep relationship with your fellow church goers. But, you can’t leave this trip without a deep relational connection to the people you serve with. True community happens in serving and living together. It is truly a life changing event.
This year has been very strange, we can thank COVID for that. Obviously I don’t know what the conditions will be like in June, but after much counsel from our Mexico missionary friends it is our best judgement to move in faith - we all believe that by then we should be good to go! We will plan with an open agenda and serve where we are needed most. I am excited for this unique missions experience.
